Many Thanks To Tony Wadsworth & Julie Mayer
For Their Support For The LRFHS. Most visitors to the Centre for the Open Day had listened to Julie’s broadcasts on Friday
Hear Tony’s Morning Show On BBC Radio Leicester on
104.9FM & DAB & Online daily From 9am till Midday

The Open Day was very busy. The doors opened at 10.00 am, and we were soon packed with visitors waiting and eager to find out more about this addictive “hobby” or armed with their queries & problems for us to try and solve.
Our volunteer staff were kept busy all day pointing people in the right direction
or hopefully answering those queries.
Our computers were kept busy all day with researchers anxious to find those missing ancestors

Martin Bromley, a regular visitor, helping with research on one of our microfiche readers

A very successful busy day which could not have taken place without our volunteer staff who give their own free time to run the Centre.
Many thanks to all our volunteers
